the writing is strong, the details are very pronounced, and it has the proprietor's names advertised on the backside.  Old antique advertising plates like this are always very popular as

they have the name of the town and state on them that they are from

2)
they have colorful scenes, pictures, designs, logos, etc., on them

3) you can date them based upon the maker's mark on the piece.
Note that the plate has the name on back,
Irving Born
, who the plate was made for.   A look into  a
Polk City Directory from the Linde Wash. area, dating back to the late 1800s - early 1900s would tell exactly who this was, date this plate, and document this plate's history.
