Osage Orange Stave, Self Bow, Primitive Archery, Seasoned

Description

This Osage Orange stave/blank is hand-split and has been drying since March 2019. It is 76 1/2
" long, 1 7/8"( at fades) tapered to 1 3/8" wide(grain followed). The handle section is about 2" thick and the limbs are about 1" thick. There's a some shallow cracks on the belly side of the handle that aren't an issue. One limb has a triple pin knot(see pics) and the other limb has a a few pin knots
. This one is dark and dense.  It's to one ring - just take it down one more yourself.
I
usually chase a ring on staves but you should always take it down one more ring yourself.
