There are two old, small flakes to glazing on rim and three fine, tight, vertical hairlines, visible inside at close inspection, and very faintly seen on outside. Crazing, fine, throughout, visible at close inspection. Very slight age tone to body. along lower edge, with one little rust dot. Displays quite well despite these defects.     ONE (1), rare and unusual, antique, glazed earthenware pottery, PENCIL CUP OR TUMBLER,
    entitled, “SOUVENIR OF SEATTLE” (Washington state) in dark ink
    blue transferware with a mild flow blue effect.
    Potted by BEARDMORE of Fenton , Staffordshire, England and imported by George Bowman to the USA. Scenes show the Seattle icons - the pioneer Square Totem Pole and Snoqualmie Water Falls.
    There is some damage, so please read the condition report at top of listing.
    Dark, ink Blue transferware - on a white clay body, with a mild flow blue appearance.
    Circa early 1900s
    SIZE - 3.75” tall by 3” diameter at rim, tapering.
    Shown with a pear, a ruler, and a pen inside, for scale. Props not included.
    Best used decoratively, for a pencil cup - not for liquids, as there is crazing.
